Local Dairy Family Featured In Michigan Milk Cup

  • in

Hood Farms Family Dairy in Paw Paw is owned and operated by Tim and Debbie Hood, and their four children. This past Sunday daughter of the Hood family Tammy and her husband Ty and their three daughters were our featured honorary captains of the game. This family had the opportunity to present the game ball and do the pregame coin flip.

The Hood family works together, each day of the year to care for their 500 dairy cows. They also take care of 1,100 acres of land that raises the crops they grow to feed the cows. “We make sure the cows are clean and comfortable in their barns. We take care of them because they are our livelihood, ” said Tim Hood.

On Saturday, August 25 the Hood family will invite neighbors and the public to visit their farm for Breakfast on the Farm, make sure you put this date on your calendar!
