KZFC Faces Force FC in First Round of Milk Cup

Kalamazoo FC opens up play in the Michigan Milk Cup this Sunday against Force FC at Mayors Riverfront Park.
This will be the second annual Milk Cup and includes a revised format with an expanded field. Eight clubs from four different leagues will participate in this years Milk Cup. The pairings for this years tournament is as follows: Grand Rapids FC vs. Muskegon Risers, Lansing United vs. Livonia City FC, KZFC vs. Force FC and AFC Ann Arbor vs. Oakland Country FC. Teams will be playing for the Milk Cup and a $5,000 grand prize.
First round games are formatted with a 2-leg home and home matchup. The winner will be determined based off the aggregate score from the two games. Semi-final matches will be randomly selected in early June and the final will be held at Hope Sports Complex’s Championship Field in Lansing, Michigan on July 4.
KZFC will face Force FC on the first round of the Milk Cup. Force FC is a club that is based out of West Bloomfield, Mich. The club has many youth teams that compete in the Michigan Premier Soccer League and the Midwest Regional League. This is the first year that Force FC will be apart of the Milk Cup.
KZFC will face off against Force FC on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Mayors Riverfront Park for leg one of two in the Michigan Milk Cup first round.
